Under Rusbridger, Guardian News and Media losses peaked at £44m in 2011/2012, but after a voluntary redundancy programme this fell to £19.4m last year. Meget fint. Blot ærgerligt, at der skal et filantropisk foretagende til for at "beskytte journalisterne". Man ville mene, at der burde være et marked. Men måske er det bare trends i tiden: ikke skrive kritisk om annoncørerne (hvis det ses), ingen flashy tomhjernede historier, men ægte journalistik. Vi så skrækeksemplet i din post af igår.
