Det bedst eksempel på Tokenmaxxing, jeg indtil videre har set, er Amazon Prime og Paramounts urimeligt grimme, AI-genererede filmplakater.
Nogle gang er det bare tilfældige billeder, næsten fra filmen (se et par eksempler nederst). Andre gange er det variationer over gamle filmplakater. Bare med færre detaljer (fordi folk er svage, nogle af deres skærme er små).
Mit gæt på hvorfor de gør det?
De vil med A/B-tests kunne bevise, at nye plakater, personligt genererede plakater (ud fra glo-historie måske), genererer lidt flere kliks og timer forbrugt på tjenesten.
Men mere kynisk: Bullshit jobs, tokenmaxxing og Innovation signalling (læs om det!) i én stor pærevælling.
Plakaterne til The Hurt Locker, og alle de andre film, er meget pænere end de overflødige mens tids- og tokenmaxxing AI-udgaver.
